COVENANT COMPLAINT FORM
We will be selling Rec tags at the Rec center M-F 8am-7pm only.
COMPOST PROCEDURE
The compost pickup procedure has been modified to allow the curbside crew to handle the large Home Depot/Lowes type paper bags, where excessive leaves are concerned. The crew will either dump the leaves from the bags directly into the compost truck and leave the bags stacked and placed under the homeowners compost buckets or the crew will take the bags away. The crew will first pass through the neighborhood collecting all normal amounts of buckets and paper bags, then pass again collecting all normal piles of brush. Then finally will return to any noted high volume area at the end of the shift.
Plastic bags are prohibited because the labor to handle them dramatically increases the overall cost of the program and the plastic bags contaminate the compost, litter the facility, and at times get caught in the screening equipment causing excessive damage.
Christmas Tree Drop Off
The Wells Branch MUD will begin curbside pickup of Christmas trees on Monday, Jan. 4 and Tuesday, Jan 5. They will also be collected at your curb every following Monday and Tuesday with the regular compost and brush pickup.
You can also drop your trees off at Katherine Fleischer Park or at the Shoreline MUD office. Signs will show you where trees can be dropped off anytime through the month of January.
For recycling purposes, there can be no decorations or lights left on trees. Also, only fresh cut trees will be collected—no artificial ones will be picked up.
