Despite fire, compost program collecting yule trees

Despite a recent fire at the MUD’s compost collection yard, collection of compostibles – including Christmas trees – will continue on its regular schedule. Recycle your tree by removing decorations and placing it at the curb by 8 a.m. Mondays for collection by the MUD’s compost program. Or remove the decorations and drop the tree at the designated areas at Katherine Fleischer Park (2106 Klattenhoff) or the MUD Office (3000 Shoreline). Sorry: We can’t accept flocked trees.
