Katherine Fleischer Park
Come get a taste of medieval times thanks to collaboration between Wells Branch and the local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism. The society is an international association of people who re-enact the Middle Ages as they will for Wells Branch with chivalric and rapier demonstrations along with individual guilds including clothiers, fiber artisans, leatherworkers, dancers, scribes, brewers, metal workers, glass engravers, enamellers, herbalists, and others. Many of the ancient arts will be on display in the baseball field at Katherine Fleischer Park. The event will be from 10-2 p.m. and is free to the public. Roasted corn, sausage on a stick, and drinks will be available for purchase.
Join your Wells Branch neighbors for our night out against crime, Tuesday, October 7, from 6:00-9:00pm at the gazebo at Katherine Fleischer Park. The WBNA will be serving up FREE hotdogs, sausage wraps, sodas, chips and door prizes.

WB Recreation Center,
If you’ve been curious about solar energy or interested in putting solar panels on your home to save money and decrease pollution, come join your neighbors at the Wells Branch Recreation Center on October 18 from 12-2pm for our Solar Energy Fair. There will be a solar energy expert speaking and a representative from the architectural committee to explain the approval process. Solar energy vendors will be there to tell you about their products and services and if you bring a copy of your monthly electric usage, they’ll be able to tell you what size system you’ll need and estimate what your savings would be. Our “Solar Pioneers”, WB neighbors who have already gone through the solar panel installation process, will be there to share their experiences and we’ll have a table with resource handouts to take with you. Refreshments will be available outside from the WB soccer team concession stand.
