Wells Branch invites talented groups and individuals of all ages with any type of talent to participate in our annual talent show from 6-9 p.m. inside the Recreation Center located at 3000 Shoreline Dr. Prizes and trophies will be awarded in youth and adult catergories for Best Individual Performance, Best Group Collaboration, Judge’s Pick, and Audience’s Pick. Prizes will be up to a $50 value!!
Admission is free for spectators and all performances will require a $5 entry fee. Registration begins in December at the WB Recreation Center. Space is limited. For questions, please contact us at 251-9814.
Many of the structural problems of mature trees can be prevented with proper pruning of young trees. Join us for a hands-on workshop to learn how to correct minor defects. Participants will learn how to make proper pruning cuts with the proper tool and properly sterilize tools to prevent the spread of diseases. The free workshop will be held Saturday, January 31 at the Wells Branch MUD Community Center/Katherine Fleischer Park from 2-5 pm.

Wells Branch MUD hosts its annual Valentine’s Day dance this year Saturday, February 14th , from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Recreation Center. This is a free event open to all ages and everyone is invited dance on an open dance floor to the sounds of a live band. The MUD will provide snack foods and drinks for everyone as well as roses for the ladies. So bring the family and come dance!

Wear your green and come experience Celtic heritage with a complete marching pipe band with drummers at 7 p.m. March 17. March behind the Silver Thistle Pipes and Drums as they lead a parade through Wells Branch’s Katherine Fleischer Park. The short parade will end at the Wells Branch Community Center court yard where guests will continue to be entertained by the band and traditional dances.There will also be face painting and temporary tatoos.
