Groups in Wells Branch
Wells Branch
has many groups that are sanctioned by the MUD. Each group is
responsible for its own programming and scheduling. The MUD
provides the facilities and the ability for these groups to
schedule their events and meetings. Please contact the appropriate
group for questions or meeting dates.
If your
group would like to become a sanctioned group, call the MUD
office at 251-9814 to obtain a form. All sanctioned groups must
perform community service for the MUD for each six scheduled
meetings. These groups may book up to six months in advance
and up to 12 meetings on the calendar at a time.
Wells Branch Soccer Association
Wells Branch Soccer Club, serving the greater
Wells Branch Community provides an exciting soccer experience for youth soccer players age 4
through 18. We strive to teach good sportsmanship by educating youth participants in the
fundamentals of soccer with an emphasis on Fun.
There are 2 seasons. A Fall season which is from September to November and a
Spring season which is from February to May. Practices are held on Mondays -
Thursdays and games are on Saturdays.

Girl Scouts and
Brownies
There are
several troops that meet at a Wells Branch facility at various
times and dates. If you are interested in the Round Rock Brownies
or Girl Scouts, contact Kathy Sanjar at 238-1188; for the Pflugerville
Brownies or Girl Scouts, contact Bertha Kondrak at 251-2107.
Boy Scouts and Cub
Scouts
Boy Scout Troop 1409 and several
dens from Cub Scout Pack 140 meet at the Wells Branch Annex
facility. If you are interested in Boy Scouts, contact Paul

Wells Branch Armada
Swim Team
The Wells
Branch Armada Swim Team became the 2002 Champions of Division
D of the Northwest Swim Circuit. The Armada is a competition
swim team for ages 4 17. Registration for the 2004 summer
will be held in April. Practices will begin in May and continue
through mid July at the Willow Bend Pool. The group also has
home and away meets on Saturdays. Please watch for further information
in your newsletter and on the neighborhood marquees.
Shotokan Karate
This program
follows the ancient traditional non-contact method of teaching
karate-do. This group is for ages 16 and over and meets at a
Wells Branch facility on various days. If you are interested,
call 636-7774 and leave name and phone number for a return call.
Moms Group
This group
is for caregivers of children ages 0 5 who would like
the opportunity to meet other caregivers, share ideas and concerns
or just to make new friends for themselves or their children.
This group meets at the Community Center on various dates and
times. For more information or a group schedule, call Paige

The Society for
Creative Anachronism, Inc.
This guild
of SCA comes together two times a month to learn and practice
Rendance. The classes and practice sessions are open to anyone
interested. This group is learning and living through our dance
about a period in time when manners and chivalry were the normal
way of life when ladies had their hands kissed, and men
bowed and ladies
