What are the office hours for the MUD office?
The Wells Branch MUD office hours are from 8 A.M till 5 P.M. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We are open Wednesday from 10 A.M. till 7 P.M.

Who needs to fill out a water application?
All new Residents and those that are moving to a new location in Wells Branch need to complete a water connection application.

When do residents receive a water bill?
Your water bill should be received by the first few days of each month.

Where can I go to pay my water bill?
Your water bill can be mailed to Wells Branch MUD at 1779 Wells Branch Parkway #110B Box 337, Austin Texas, 78728, dropped into the drop box at the Katherine Fleischer Pool on Klattenhoff (next to the community center) or brought to the MUD office at 3000 Shoreline Dr. (next to the fire station)

What are our water and waste water rates?
The Wells Branch MUD Water Rates are:
$2.46 per 1000 gallons from 1 to 6000 gallons
$3.10 per 1000 gallons from 6001 to 15,000 gallons
$4.10 per 1000 gallons for over 15,000 gallons
The Wells Branch MUD Waste Water Rates are:
$3.97 per 1000 gallons based on average water usage.

Do we have trash pickup?
Yes. B.F.I. picks up the trash at your curb side once a week. They also furnish "polycarts" to put your trash in, but these containers need to be retrieved after being emptied and placed where they can not be observed from the street.

What is the cost of trash service?
This cost is included in the Basic Service charge on your monthly water bill.

When do I put my trash and recycle bins by the curb side?
B.F.I. picks up trash Monday through Thursday. They cover one fourth of the entire district each day. You will need to contact the MUD office to find out which is your day. Our phone number is 251-9814 or come by 3000 Shoreline Dr. Trash and recycle bins must be at curb side by 8 A.M. on your trash day.

What do I do if I see a water leak or worse than that, if I have a water leak?
If you see water bubbling out of the ground or running down the curb gutter of the street, please call our office at 251-9814. If it is after hours call E.C.O. Resources at 335-7580. If the leak is on your side of the meter, you will probably need to call a good plumber.

What do I do if I want to add something on to my house or build something in my back yard? Are there covenant restrictions?
Yes there are covenant restrictions in Wells Branch. In fact there over 20 different sets of covenants. These were written by your developer. We are forced to follow these covenants in order to maintain property values and esthetic uniformity across the neighborhood. If you plan some type of home improvement that will effect the appearance of your property, you will need to get approval from the A.C.C. committee. Please feel free to contact the MUD office at 251-9814 and ask for the covenants inspector.

Do we have a regularly scheduled neighborhood newspaper?
The Wells Branch MUD has for your convenience a once a month newsletter entitled "Wells Branch Word" which is mailed out to you at no cost to you. It will contain news about what is happening here in Wells Branch. If you do not receive your newsletter, come by 3000 Shoreline Drive and we will give you one. There is also a WBNA news letter that is delivered to your door.

When are the pools open?
The Wells Branch MUD pools are opened year-round. Please see "pools" on this web page for the actual times. The times vary according to the season. We will update this page when the times change.

Are swim lessons offered at the pool?
Yes, Wells Branch MUD offers swim lessons. They are offered during the summer sessions. We will post notices in the web site, newsletter and on the marquees when they are available.

When does the MUD board meet and is it an open meeting?
The Wells Branch MUD board generally meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday nights at the Community Center at 6:30 P.M. The meeting notices are posted at the Community Center as well as the marquees and will note the place and time. Yes it is open to the public unless otherwise noted on the postings of the meeting.

No. That is supplied by TXU at 800-242-9113 or City of Austin at 476-7721, depending on your location.
