Katherine Fleischer Park

Katherine Fleischer Park is the jewel of the Wells Branch neighborhood. It is a large park with a community center and gazebo, a large heavily shaded playground, giant playhouse, pool, soccer field, sand volleyball court, tennis and basketball courts, and a multi-use baseball field . . . you name it, and this park probably has it!

The park is well integrated with the trails that navigate through the Wells Branch neighborhood and includes trails to get to the disc golf course, the Wells Branch Community Library and Mills Pond. It is a great place to host parties, let the kids play on the playscapes, or fly a kite. Keep an eye on the special events page as the park is often a host to free outdoor events.

Also located in the park is the historical Gault Homestead. Tours are available upon request. Contact the recreation manager at 251-9814 for details.

You can reserve the community center located in the park with a lovely courtyard that connects to the playground or the gazebo located behind the sport courts. Contact the recreation center at 251-9814 for reservations and fees.
