Classes

Wells Branch offers classes for adults at our Recreation Center and Pools. Most of our classes use a prepaid multiclass card fee system. You can purchase your multiclass card at the Recreation Center. The Multiclass Card will be stored on your Rec Tag and you can use it for any class.

Abs & Toning

Description Toning and conditioning using utilizing light weights and resistance bands.

Yoga

Description Gain flexibility and tone muscle with gentle weigh-bearing exercises in a non-purist, relaxed setting.

 ZUMBA!

Description ZUMBA is a fitness class that combines dance & fitness moves. Inspired by Latin dance & music, ZUMBA uses a wide variety of styles in its routines, including Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa, and many more. The class will be one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body energizing, and intense dance-aerobic workout. We meet in the recreation center's gym.

Aquafit

Renaissance Dance

When	2nd and 4th Sunday 6:00 - 8:00pm

Description   Bryn Gwlad’s European Dance Guild explores the world of dance from pre-1700s. Medieval and Renaissance dance styles are beginner friendly quite a lot of fun to do. We teach walk throughs of each dance before doing it to music. Street clothes are the norm for dress, though every once and a while some of us may choose to wear period costumes.

 

Choral Guild
The Choir of Bryn Gwlad welcomes you! We perform art music from the Medieval and Renaissance periods. The ability to read music is helpful, but is not required. We perform at Fall Baronial (September), Yule Revel (December) and Candlemas (February), and also at public demos. During our hiatus (February through July) we meet infrequently on an as-needed basis.
