Mills Pond Dam Project

The District is developing plans to correct deficiencies suggested by the TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) in a recent inspection of the Mills Pond dam and we are considering options to address these concerns. The documentation provided is overview of TCEQ Dam safety, evaluation information from District engineers, and initial proposed (TCEQ accepted) solution for modifications to support state requirements. The Board will be considering additional actions on further risk assessments and other alternative solutions and plan to have additional public meetings to share these once the concepts are developed.
