The 1st Annual Wells Branch MUD Aquathlon was held Saturday, May 5th at 8am. The Junior group (ages 6-10) started right at 8am and completed a 100yd swim and 1K run, followed by the Senior group (ages 11-16) who completed a 200yd swim and a 2K run. We had 29 participants and all finished with smiles on their faces! Thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers for making the day a successful and fun event!

Household hazard waste collection will be available at the KF Park from 8:00am to 11:30am.
The 3rd Annual Keep Wells Branch MUD Don’t Mess With Texas Trash-Off Cleanup event will be held on April 14th at Katherine Fleischer Park from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Wells Branch MUD hosts its annual Valentine’s Day dance and concert Tuesday, February 14th , from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Community Center. This is a free event open to all ages and everyone is invited dance on an open dance floor to the sounds of a live band . The MUD will provide snack foods and drinks for everyone as well as roses for the ladies.

Our adult Wells Branch residents are once again invited to test their gaming luck at the annual Labor Day Casino Night from 6-9 p.m. Blackjack tables, a roulette table, craps table, and Texas Hold ’em poker provided by Casino Knights Inc., are professionally arranged inside the Community Center to “make or break” anyone who tempts fate. A raffle held upon conclusion of the night allows “winners” to cash out and place tickets towards several prizes. Must be 21 to attend.

Come get a taste of medieval times thanks to collaboration between Wells Branch and the local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism. The society is an international association of people who re-enact the Middle Ages as they will for Wells Branch with chivalric and rapier demonstrations along with individual guilds including clothiers, fiber artisans, leatherworkers, dancers, scribes, brewers, metal workers, glass engravers, enamellers, herbalists, and others. Many of the ancient arts will be on display in the baseball field at Katherine Fleischer Park. The event will be from 10-2 p.m. and is free to the public. Wells Branch will sell turkey legs, roasted corn, and beverages.
