When do I put my trash and recycle bins by the curb for pickup?
Download the Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Schedule to see your Trash pick up day. Trash and recycle bins must be at curbside by 8 a.m. on your trash day.
What are the office hours for the MUD office?
The Wells Branch MUD office hours are from 8 A.M till 5 P.M. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We are open Wednesday from 10 A.M. till 7 P.M.
Who needs to fill out a water application?
All new Residents and those that are relocating to a new location in Wells Branch need to complete a water application.

When do residents receive a water bill?
Your water bill should be received by the first few days of each month.
If you do not receive your bill, please contact Crossroads Utility@246-1400.
When is the water bill supposed to be paid?
Your payment is due by 5:00 PM on the 20th of each month.
Where can I go to pay my water bill?
Your water bill can be mailed to Wells Branch MUD 3000 Shoreline Dr. Austin, Texas 78728, dropped into the drop box at 2106 Klattenhoff (near the community center) or brought to the MUD office dropbox at 3000 Shoreline Dr. or call Crossroads Utilities@246-1400.
You may pay your bill in person or call us at 251-9814 to pay with VISA or Mastercard over the phone. You may also sign-up for automatic draft from your credit or debit card and your balance will be deducted each month automatically or call Crossroads Utilities@246-1400. Who furnishes or replaces trash receptacles & recycle bins?
IESI furnishes trash receptacles to put your trash in. The mud office provides recycling bins if needed. Contact 251-9814 if your can is broken. Please be a good neighbor and store your trash receptacles & recycle bins out of view.

What is the cost of trash service?
This cost is included in the Basic Service charge on your monthly water bill.
What do I do with my large bulky items?
Large bulky items should be put it out on your curb by 8 a.m. on your regular trash day. You can also come to our monthly Clean-Up Day at the Maintenance office every 2nd Saturday of the month from 8-5 pm. It is located at 13905 Thermal Drive across from Northwest Elementary School. We have several dumpsters to dispose of your bulky items.
Please contact 251-9814 to see if your item is acceptable. The MUD provides residential dumping. No commercial dumping permitted.

What do I do if I have or see a water leak?
If you see water bubbling out of the ground or running down the curb gutter of the street, please call Crossroads Utility Services at 512-246-1400. If the leak is on your side of the meter, you will probably need to call a good plumber.
What do I do if I want ACC to add something on to my house or build something in my back yard? Is there covenant restrictions?
Yes there are covenant restrictions in Wells Branch. In fact there over 30 different sets of covenants. These were written by your developer. We are forced to follow these covenants in order to maintain property values and esthetic uniformity across the neighborhood. If you plan some type of home improvement that will effect the appearance of your property, you will need to get approval from the A.C.C. committee. Please feel free to contact the MUD office at 251-9814 and ask for the covenants inspector. Also, see the ACC Request Form.
Do we have a regularly scheduled neighborhood newspaper?
For your convenience, the Wells Branch MUD has a newsletter entitled "Wells Branch Word" which is mailed to you. The Word contains news about what is happening in Wells Branch. If you do not receive your newsletter, please call 251-9814 to pick one up. There is also a WBNA news letter that is delivered to your door.
When are the pools open?
The Wells Branch MUD pools are opened year-round. Visit our Pools page for the actual times. The times vary according to the season.
Are swim lessons offered at the pool?
Yes, Wells Branch MUD offers swim lessons. They are offered for 10 weeks in the summer. Both adults and youth can take part in these classes. We will post notices on the web site, newsletter and on the marquees when they begin. For questions contact The Recreation Center@251-9814 Ext. 103.
When does the MUD board meet and is it an open meeting?
The Wells Branch MUD board generally meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday @ 6:30 in the Community Center. The meeting notices are posted at the Community Center as well as on the marquees. Meetings are open to the public unless otherwise noted on the meeting post.
Where are the swimming pools?
Katherine Fleischer Pool is located at 2106 Klattenhoff and the Willow Bend Pool is located at 2801 Sauls Dr.
Who supplies my electricity?
Electricity is supplied by TXU at 800-242-9113 or City of Austin at 476-7721, depending on your location.
Who supplies the gas utility?
Gas is supplied by Atmos Energy at 800-460-3030.
What is the MUD office address?
We are located at 3000 Shoreline Drive, which is next to the fire station located on the corner of Bratton Lane and Shoreline Dr.
What do I do if I have a question about my water bill?
For all questions regarding billing, usage or delinquent notices, you may call our water management company, Crossroads Utility Services at 512-246-1400. Or contact the MUD office located at 3000 Shoreline Drive or call 512-251-9814.
What do I do with my grass clippings, compost and tree limbs?
The MUD office has black containers for your grass clippings and compost. Tree limbs must be cut down to 6 foot bundles and layed near your curb. All items must be placed at your curb by 8 am on Monday and Tuesday morning for TexaScapes to pick-up. If there are large quantities of items in the District during a particular week, your items may not get picked up till later in the week.
