St. Pat’s Day Parade • March 17
Wear your green and come experience Celtic heritage with a complete marching pipe band with drummers at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 17. March behind the Silver Thistle Pipes and Drums as they lead a parade through Wells Branch’s Katherine Fleischer Park. The parade will end at the Wells Branch Community Center where guests will continue to be entertained by the band and can enjoy refreshments provided by the MUD.
Wells Branch Has Talent • March 20
It’s time to see what Wells Branch has for talent! We invite any age amateur performer to participate in the 1st annual talent show for Wells Branch residents Saturday, March 20th from 4-7pm inside the Recreation Center Gym. No professionals please. Awards and prizes will be given for several categories including Best Individual Performance, Best Group Collaboration, Judge’s Pick, and Audience’s Favorite. There will be a $5 entry fee that will be given back as prizes to the winners. There are only 20 available spots for performers so register inside the recreation center soon. The registration deadline will be March 12th. Performance times for each act will be posted on March 16th. Please contact the recreation center at 251-9814 for any questions.

Talent Application
Dog Fair • April 10
Calling all dogs! Wells Branch MUD features its annual Dog Fair Saturday, April 10 from 10a.m. to 1p.m. The event is free to all. Come and visit the many booths occupied by local veterinarians and other pet-oriented companies. Enroll your pooch to win prizes in one of the many free and fun competitions including Best Trick, Fastest Dog, Best Dressed, Dog & Owner Look-A-like, and our prestigious Wells Branch King and Queen contest All dogs must be on a leash and under owner’s control at all times. All dogs attending the event must be current on their vaccinations. No aggressive dogs please.
Pioneer Festival • April 24
The annual Wells Branch Pioneer Festival celebrates Texas history Saturday, April 24 The annual Homestead Festival is centered around the historic Wells Branch Homestead, the 1850s-era cabin in Katherine Fleischer Park. Pioneer Festival will feature fun and educational activities throughout the day to experience the history of 19th Century Texas. Demonstrations include rope making, corn husk doll making, syrup making and butter churning, just to name a few. If you would like to volunteer or have a craft or activity from that period for demonstration, call Mona Oliver at the MUD office, 251-9814.
Spring Youth Fishing Tournament• May 8
Wells Branch hosts this spring youth fishing tournament for ages 17 and under from 9 a.m. to noon at Mills Pond. Enrollment into the tournament is free for all youth and trophies and prizes will be awarded. Equipment will be provided for those anglers who show with out. We will have fishing poles, hooks and bait. All state fishing regulations apply.
Memorial Day Concert & Casino Night • May 29
Katherine Fleischer Pool will be open at no cost to residents on Saturday, May 22, and visitors can enjoy a free concert and refreshments in the park from 3 to 5 p.m. From 6 to 9p.m., the MUD presents an adults only evening of gaming for our residents. This event is for residents 21 and up only and IDs will be checked at the door. Join us at 2106 Klattenhoff Dr. as the MUD transforms the Community Center into a casino using professional tables and dealers. Stick around following the gaming for more fun and the opportunity to “spend” your winnings on a variety of prizes.
